Ceremony & Reception Centerpieces
Sized to the room you are actually in. A piece scaled for a full ballroom overwhelms a walled garden ceremony, and one scaled for thirty guests vanishes at two hundred and fifty.
Hand-carved ice for club evenings, lakeside weddings and private celebrations on the western shore of Folsom Lake.
Granite Bay is compact, and its event life concentrates in two places: Granite Bay Golf Club, and the houses on the ridges above Folsom Lake. The club is the anchor — a private garden walled in classic stone for ceremonies, a sky-lit ballroom behind it, and a range that runs from a thirty-guest gathering to a reception of two hundred and fifty. That range is the reason we scale pieces here more carefully than almost anywhere else in the metro. A sculpture correctly sized for a full ballroom will dominate a small garden ceremony and read as showing off; one sized for thirty people disappears entirely at two hundred and fifty. We ask for the guest count before we sketch. The other half of the work is residential, on properties near the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area shoreline, where the ceremony is outdoors, the afternoon is hot and the piece has to hold its edges in open air rather than under climate control.

Carved bars for a cocktail hour that moves between a garden and a ballroom. Built to be set once and to hold through the transition.
For ceremonies held on open ground above the lake, carved with the mass and silhouette to survive an afternoon without climate control.

"Wow! Fast response and beautiful ice sculpture. It was a great piece to add to our event."
"I've gotten several ice sculptures from this company. They are fast and do great work."
Send us the venue, the guest count and the time the piece needs to be standing. We will size and freeze it for those conditions.
